This is the meaning of what is stated, “Here is Elisha the son of Shofot who poured water on Eliyahu’s hands,”17Rashi explains from where they got the water to fill the entire ditch. and a miracle took place with the water through him, [i.e.,] he is worthy that a miracle should take place with water through him.18II Melochim 3:11.
